Silesian wheat-beer Schöps

Breslauer Schöps was a top-fermented beer style traditionally made by small Silesian home brewers. The style had probably died out by the 1920's due to the more popular bottom-fermenting beers brewed in the Pilsener style.

As part of the EBC Symposium in Wrocław, a commemorative schöps recreating this forgotten style will be brewed in collaboration with Browar Stu Mostów, the Distelhäuser Brauerei and EBC.

Please diarise the launch of this beer for the evening of Tuesday, 20 September 2016 after the closing of the symposium, at the Browar Stu Mostów. A shuttle service will take delegates from the Sofitel Old City Hotel to the brewery at 18h00. More details are available upon registration.
